FICCI BAF Awards - 2014

It was a very proud moment to bag up the title for the Animated Film in Indian Category from FICCI – BAF Awards.

FICCI – The federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry is an association of business organizations in India. This chamber has membership from the corporate sector both public and private. FICCI plays a leading role in policy debates that are at the forefront of social, economic and political change. Being a NGO and a nonprofit organization, FICCI is the voice of India’s business industry. It works closely with the government on policy issues, enhancing efficiency, competitiveness and expanding business opportunities for industry through a range of specialized services and global linkages. FICCI has several chambers or divisions attached with it. One of such endowed division is "FICCI – Entertainment Division".

In order to recognize and honor the professionals and students in the Animation Industry FICCI – Entertainment Division started to Award them with "Best Animated Frames (BAF) – Awards" from 2004. It was the first ever animation awards in India grew over years to encompass awards not only in animation but also in VFX and Gaming fields. This contest is now a well-known top notch contest in the world and receives entries from all over the world.

We, Agaram Animation Studios registered for FICCI BAF Awards - 2014 in different categories for one of our featured film "THE TURBOOSTERS". In 2014, FICCI BAF almost received 400 entries from several countries in several categories. After several screening processes FICCI BAF Awards were announced on March 2014. Mr. K.S. Arun (CEO) and Mr. Tamilalagan (CTO) participated in the awards ceremony.

There were certain breath taking moments as we were nominated in two categories "International animated film, Indian animated film" and finally it was announced that "The Turboosters" is bagging up the title for Animated film in Indian Category. It was a proud moment for a Team from Tamil Nadu, India to hold up the FICCI-BAF award.

The picture quality was the key source for success, and we took a lot of effort in order to give it 100%
